Our volunteers are everyday heroes!
Whatever your skill set, lend a hand for as little or as much time as you can spare, and we promise you’ll get more out than you put in. Our volunteering opportunities are as varied as you!
You don’t need to be Bear Grylls to join us. We’re talking about students who want to boost their CV, and parents who volunteer so they can spend more time together as a family. We provide the training. You show up, get stuck in, and make memories for life.
Check out Trustee Opportunities
Trustees are must for Scouting and allow Scouts to run as charities. They make sure we follow the rules and laws, handle finances and communications. They work flexibly behind the scenes to keep Scouts going.
Check out Local Opportunities
Whether you want to help regularly, occasionally or help plan programmes behind the scenes, our local Group and Section teams work directly with young people to make sure they make the most out of Scouting and learn #skillsforlife.
Check out District Opportunities
If you want to help a broader range of young people, our District roles support all of our local teams to help with programmes, events, permits, training and more. District roles support those that work with young people behind the scenes to give young people #skillsforlife.
